A 1997 graduate of Canajoharie High School, I am currently in my ninth
year as a member of the district's History Department. I earned my Bachelors
Degree in History Education in the Spring of 2001 from St. Lawrence University
in Canton, NY. I received my Masters Degree in Education from the State
University of New York at Albany. In addition, I am preparing to enter my
eighth season as the head coach of the varsity swimming and diving team this
winter.
Students will use a variety of intellectual skills to demonstrate their
understanding of major ideas, eras, themes, developments, and turning points
in both world and national history and examine the broad sweep of history
from a variety of perspectives. In addition, students will also be using a
variety of intellectual skills to demonstrate their understanding of the
geography of the interdependent world in which we live-local, national, and
global-including the distribution of people, places, and environments over
the Earth's surface.
