In a well-developed essay, answer the following questions. If you feel that
your handwriting is illegible, you may type the paper. If you choose to type
the paper, you must use a professional looking font with a font size no
larger than 12.
There is no set length for the essay; your goal is to answer each of the
questions in essay format.
For 9X this is due on WEDNESDAY.
For 9Y it is due on THURSDAY.
1. Do you consider yourself responsible? Why? In what ways?
2. What does responsibility mean to you? What is the relationship between
blaming and responsibility? Think about what some of your biggest problems
are at school (ex: conduct, lateness, absences, etc.). Do you blame anyone
for those problems?
3. What does being responsible have to do with the quality of character?
4. What are the benefits of being a responsible person? How do you benefit
from the responsibility of others?
5. It has been said that "There are no rights without responsibility, and
there is no responsibility without rights." What does that mean? Do you
agree? What is the relationship between rights and responsibilities?
