One of the opportunities that Cathedral Prep offers is regular spiritual
direction and formation conferences for its students. Fr. John Cush is the
Spiritual Director of Cathedral Prep. Fr. Cush serves as the coordinator of
all Liturgy as well.
The Spiritual Director or the assistant and adjunct spiritual directors will
see each student periodically during the year in order to provide guidence
concerning growth and development in Christ.
Fr. Cush has begub Spiritual Direction in September. You will be
issued a pass. It is, of course, your responsibility to make up any work
missed during that period,as well as to switch with another student in your
year if you have a quiz or an exam.
The Eucharist is the center and source of our faith as Catholics. When we
receive our Eucharistic Lord, we become He Whom we receive and can be Christ
to each other and to a world that really needs our Lord! Don't forget to go
to Mass on Sunday in your parish Church!
We at Cathedral Prep are blessed enough to have the opportunity to celebrate
the Mass every school day at 8:10 AM. The daily Mass is the heart of
Cathedral Prep. We all must participate in prayer and service in this
greatest of prayers.
