We know we're a few days late on this, but we've FINALLY posted the 5 Finalists for our Best Website contest on our Facebook page at
https://www.facebook.com/TeacherWebInc
. You have from now until midnight next Wednesday, May 22nd, to vote on your favorite. The winner will receive a free year of TeacherWeb, and the 4 runners-up will get $15 Starbucks giftcards, so vote wisely! The Finalists' websites are posted in their own photo album on our Facebook page, so check those out first, visit the sites, click around, then come back and vote via our poll.
Thanks for your participation - we were amazed by all the entries and fantastic websites that we got to review, and if you didn't end up in the Top 5, know that it's because there are so many stellar educators out there using our products to reach their students and families that it was almost impossible for us to choose.
Thanks again,
The folks at TeacherWeb

Fitnessgram is a fitness assessment tool. The assessment includes a variety of health-related physical fitness tests that assess aerobic capacity, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition. Scores are then compared to Healthy Fitness Zone Standards. The Healthy Fitness Zone Standards are not based on class averages or any other peer comparisons. They are criterion-referenced standards that are based on levels of fitness needed for good health. The standards are set specifically for boys and girls of various ages using the best available research. It is important to understand that the Fitnessgram is based ON good health, NOT ON athletic ability. Also, there is no pass or fail to the Fitnessgram. It's an assessment tool that provides the students with information to identify areas of fitness that may need special attention, or improvements. Assessment Tests include: Aerobic Capacity: Mile Run/Pacer Test Muscular Strenth/Endurance: Flexed Arm Hang/Curl-Ups Flexibility: Back Saver Sit and Reach Body Composition: Body Mass Index To learn more; please go to "Links" ....you will find a URL that can take you directly to a Fitnessgram Home Page
