Each child is given an agenda planner the first day of school. It will be the responsibility of the child to record homework as it is assigned throughout the day. A homework folder will be provided to keep assignments organized. Homework is given to reinforce skills taught in the classroom. If a child is struggling with an assignment, please let me know. You can write a note on the assignment and send it in with your child the next day, that way I can be sure to help the child with specific concepts that are difficult. Each child is expected to complete homework in a timely manner. Generally, homework is given throughout the week with time given in school to begin these assignments. Homework is not usually assigned over the weekend.
