My name is Amy LaPuma and it is a pleasure to be teaching your child this
year! This is my twenty fourth year teaching kindergarten children in the
Dolgeville district.
Originally from Rome, New York, I graduated from the State University
College of New York at Oswego with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary
Education and continued my education receiving a Master's Degree in
Education from Oneonta. My grandfather and father were teachers before me
and I proudly carry on that family tradition!
Little Falls is now home for me, where I reside with my wonderful husband.
We are the parents of two sons, one a student at Little Falls Middle School
and the other a recent college graduate. When I am not in
school, my interests include: reading, traveling (especially to beaches!),
baking and spending time with my family. Together, we enjoy playing board
games, riding our bikes and spending time at our Pine Lake camp. Our family
is also very involved in activities at our church and we have a great time
working with the children there!
I am happy to have the opportunity to work with you for the benefit of your
child. As a team, we can provide a fun, exciting and successful
kindergarten year for your son or daughter! Thank you for sharing your
