~Happy New Year!! 2010
~Our class will begin a program called Too Good For Drugs on Wednesday,
January 6. The program will run for ten weeks with half hour sessions each
time. This is a program that will lead the students through the process of
setting goals, building self-esteem, avoiding drug/alcohol use, etc. It will
be taught by Mrs. Petrie.
~There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 18 in observance of Martin Luther
King Jr. Day.
~Monthly Magic will be held on Friday, January 15 (Please note that this is a
change from the original date!). Our VIPs for the month will be Chyle and
Sara.
~Our class will begin practicing for both the NYS Math and ELA tests this
month. It is important that your child attend school each day in order to
prepare for these tests and to learn as much as they possibly can throughout
the remainder of the school year.
