This year in third grade, each student will be using a Take Home Folder, which will be used to keep track of daily homework, important upcoming events,and any necessary parent/teacher communication.Please be sure to check your child's folder each night. *** Homework serves two purposes: it provides an opportunity to establish good practice and reinforces skills taught in class. Ways to Help Your Child With Homework 1. Help them find a quiet, well lit area to work. 2. Keep supplies handy: sharpened pencil, eraser. 3. Pick a time to do homework and be consistant. 4. Let your child do his/her own homework. It can be checked to see that it's finished but refrain from having them change answers to make them all correct. 5. If your child is having a lot of trouble with the homework, please let me know. **Thank you for your support and cooperation.
