Supplies Needed For First Grade:
     - 5 sharpened pencils (Do not buy the ones with the plastic 
coating or are made in China, as they do not sharpen well.)
     - 2 erasers
     - box of crayons, no larger than a 24 pack
     - sneakers, needed everyday for recess (and gym)
     - 8 pack of wide point, water base markers with the basic colors 
(not the skinny kind)
     - utility box (that will fit in the desk to keep pencils, 
erasers and crayons in)
     - backpack
     - 1 plastic folder with pockets on the bottom for take home 
papers (to be replaced as needed)
     - change purse for lunch money
     - a 3 ring binder (small rings - 1")- no trapper keepers
     - for art - an old adult T shirt
     - 4 large glue sticks
     - child size safety scissors

Some of these items will need to be replenished periodically.  Please 
put their names on these items. 

For home, please keep a supply box with crayons, scissors, pencils 
and a glue stick in it to be ussed for homework.
