    • Maintaining a record of class discussions & activities
    • Working productively in a group
  • Homework Assignments: Homework is assigned on a regular basis.  Our in-class discussions and projects are often based on the homework assignment due for that day.  I expect that students will complete every assignment.  A complete assignment includes a proper heading with the date, instructions, questions, answers, and reference to sources.  Homework assignments are recorded on the homework calendar and on my webpage. Students who are absent are expected to call a classmate to get the assignment(s).  Extensions may be granted in special cases, for long-term projects, but no extensions will be granted the day before the project is due. Students will be expected to hand in any missed assignments during the lunch extra help period.
  • Quizzes, Essays, Research Papers, Tests/Projects: If a student does not meet the standards on any one of these assignments, he/she will be expected to make the necessary corrections and/or complete an alternative assessment.
