From January 26 - January 30, 2009, Van Wyck will celebrate national No Name-Calling Week. This
event is nationally recognized and is used by public schools across our nation to eliminate
negative remarks amonst peer groups. Schools work to eliminate name-calling and bullying,
and toward promoting positive behavior.

The Character Education Program will lead the way implementing activites that promote a
safer school environment and promote school spirit amongst our students. For more information on
