*****************************************************************************
Your child must come to school each day will pencils, homework, and a signed
planner.
Your child should be spending approximately 30 minutes a day on homework (this
time should also include reading the comprehension sheets and/or reading for
enjoyment). Daily homework is one math sheet and one reading/ELA assignment
that may connect to social studies or science.
If your child is struggling with time management and/or the assignments please
let me know as soon as possible.
Always look for words to be studied each week for spelling and content area
vocabulary. Spelling and vocabulary quizzes are each Friday.
A Friday math quiz is given weekly based on the lessons for the week.
Unit tests will have a study guide sent home a week prior to the test date.
All quizzes and tests are to be signed by a parent or guardian the night they
are sent home. This will really help us to communicate and help your child
succeed.
Thank you for all of your support and I look forward to a fabulous year!!!
