I am thrilled about entering my 7th year here at Evans. My family and I
moved here 8 years ago from Virgina. I previously taught Kindergarten and
Pre-Kindergarten in Newport News, Virginia, where my husband was stationed
in the U.S. Navy. We are excited to be back up North closer to family and
friends. This is my 17th year teaching and I thoroughly enjoy the primary
grades. I have a Master's Degree in Literacy from Mercy College and I have
a strong desire to help children acquire the skills necessary to become
successful readers.
