Just a few notes about the expectations for the daily routine and the rest of
the year:
* Students should dress appropriately for our weather. In the classroom
layers are helpful because it is hot and cold from time to time. When the
outside temperature is blow freezing hats, gloves, and a winter coat are
necessary. Outdoor recess will not happen if the temperature is
below 10 degrees.
* Students are expected to come to school ready to learn. When they arrive
at school they are to come in take their chair down and sit quietly for
attendance and preparation for the special of the day.
* Students will enter assignments in their planners without a
constant reminder and to then get planners signed nightly to promote
communication and individual responsibility of work that is required.
Students are asked to be responsible to get planner signed-not parent
assuming responsibility to sign the planner.
* Students will complete homework as assigned and return to school with it in
the morning. Missing homework (3) will automatically reduce the quarter
average of 100 (to begin) by 5 points each and result in a note home after 3
missing, with a copy to Mr. Dominick.
* Students will follow instructions from adults without question,
first time given. Students are expected to listen and work quietly.
* Students are expected to respect others at all times. With this in mind,
students will not prevent others from being able to learn in our classroom or
will a student stop class function.
