This is Mrs. Tand's fourth year teaching in the Schoolwide Enrichment
program at Fairfield. She had a fabulous time piloting the new program three
years ago and is so thrilled that SEM is now in all 6 elementary schools this
year! She is very excited about the 2009-2010 school year and can't wait to
get started!
Mrs. Tand actually grew up in Massapequa Park and attended McKenna
Elementary School, where she was a student in the Magnet program! Mrs. Tand
graduated summa cum laude from Barnard College (Columbia University)
with a B.A. in Psychology and Elementary Education. She completed her
Masters Degree in Gifted & Talented Education from Teachers College (Columbia
University) and is thrilled to be teaching in Massapequa.
