How does spelling work?

Each week, your child will pick a total of 10 words. 5 words will be from a
class list composed of words from a phonics lesson. The other 5 will come
from the list of frequently used words found in the front cover of their
spelling notebook. As your child learns the words from the list, they will
be highlighted.
