HOMEWORK POLICY Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday night. Students will bring home a planner with their homework assignments written down. Please check your child's planner daily and sign the comment box. This will tell you the homework assignment. Your child's planner needs to comes back and forth to school each day. Students will also need to read for 15 minutes Monday through Thursday. A reading log will be attached to your child's planner. This log will need to be completed with the number of minutes that the student read that night and a parent signature. This will be handed in every Friday. Homework is usually two pages. One page reinforces the math lesson of the day. The other page usually hss to do with the skill that is being learned in Fundations.** Children may also bring home reading homework that is assigned by myself or our reading teacher, Mrs. O'Dell. There may also be homework in Social Studies or Science. ** There will never be more that two pages a night. It should take your child no more than 20 minutes to complete. Homework is expected to be completed on time. If there is ever a reason why your child is unable to complete their homework, please let me know.
