I have been teaching for fifteen years!! I have worked at Fishkill
Elementary for six years!! I was the
Special Education Teacher with Mr. Gertler, Mrs. P.G. and Mrs. Seablom. This
is my third year at
Fishkill as a General Education teacher. Before moving to Fishkill, I worked
as a Pre-K teacher for
two years and a fourth grade teacher for two years in addition to all the
substitute teaching I did
prior to that!!
I am married and I have one daughter, Katie, who is a sophomore at
Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. She is majoring in education just
like mom. I
have two pets: a Black Lab named Pepper and a black & white cat named Corky!!
You may know my stepson, Brian LaSusa. He is a fifth grade teacher at
Brinkerhoff Elementary
School. I also have two grandchchildren, Hannah and Christopher!!
My favorite thing to do is teach!! I love all my students and know they are
the best students that any
teacher could have.
