Our school's literacy committee is currently working on upholding our 2008-09 Critical Thinking goals that were set at the conclusion of the previous school year. Many of the staff members have shared their lessons that incorporate Thinking Maps at our monthly faculty meetings. This is a wonderful opportunity to see the fabulous ways teachers are incorporating Thinking Maps into every day lessons. The committee is also working closing with the PTA in planning PARP and the spring book fair. Many wonderful things are underway to help promote literacy here at Fishkill Elementary.
