DAILY HOMEWORK:
Study and review High Frequency Words
READING HOMEWORK:
Occasionally your child will bring home a book in a bag read in guided
reading groups that day. Please read the book with your child and discuss
what happened.
You can discuss what happened in the beginning, middle, and end of the story
or sequence the events. Please return the book to school the next day.
WEEKLY HOMEWORK:
Weekly homework will go home on a Monday and will be due on a Friday. The
homework packet allows your child to review and practice skills learned in
the classroom.
MATH REVIEW PACKETS:
A few days before our math test, a math review packet will be sent home.
Please complete it with your child to help them study for the test. Please
return it by the date on the front of the packet.
MONTHLY HOMEWORK:
Starting in the month of February your child will get a "Book in a Bag"
homework assignment. You will get the "Book in a Bag" homework assignment in
the beginning of the month and you will return the homework assignment at the
end of the month in the Ziplock bag. Your child may keep the book and just
hand in the assignment to share with the class.
