THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF SUPPLIES STUDENTS WILL NEED FOR THE 2009-2010 SCHOOL YEAR. PLEASE BRING THEM TO OUR FIRST GRADE ORIENTATION ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2nd FROM 9-10am. • 2 yellow hi-lighting markers • 20 glue sticks (we will keep extras until needed) • 1 composition books (100 sheets, hard cover) • crayons (box of 24 or less) • scissors (Fiskars are best) • 2 boxes of yellow #2 pencils - please sharpen these - thank you!! • 1 box of pencil-top erasers • 4 sturdy pocket folders (Please get the following colors – green, yellow, blue, red) • 1 pocket folder (any color/style) • 1 pencil sharpener with a cover to collect pencil shavings • 1 box of washable bold markers (8 count) • 1 red pen • 4 Dry Erase Markers (low odor) • 1 “SPACEMAKER” supply box (to hold crayons in desk) • 2 large boxes of tissues to share with class • 1 box zip lock plastic bags - (gallon, quart or sandwich size) • 1 container of antibacterial wipes or Clorox Wipes • 1 bag or box of snacks to share (pretzels, animal crackers, goldfish, etc.) • $4.50 (cash in an envelope with your child’s name on it) for Scholastic News On-going supplies • a daily NUTRITIOUS snack (no drinks or juice boxes please) • a water bottle for hot days.
