FREDONIA CENTRAL SCHOOL DISCTRICT
This is my 14th year teaching at Fredonia.
I've taught almost every technology education course we have. (I haven't
taught woodworking - yet.)
I've also taught 6th and 8th grades in the middle school.
I truly enjoy teaching at FSCD.
WORK EXPIENCE
Prior to teaching, I worked in industry for 10 years. I worked for Alumax
Extrusions; Watson Bowman Acme; and Bush Industries. I was a drafter/CAD
operator at each of these businesses. I also created instruction booklets at
Bush Industries.
ADJUNCT PROFESSOR
I am currently teaching a course at Jamestown Community College. I travel to
JCC on Wednesdays to teach Engineering Drawing with AUTOCAD.
EDUCATION
I graduated from Dunkirk High School in 1981. I earned an Associates in
Applied Science degree from Alfred State College in 1986 in Architectural
Engineering Technology. I received my Bachelors in Applied Science in 1998
from Buffalo State College in Technology Education. I earned my Masters of
Applied Science in 2004 from Buffalo State College in Technology Education.
INTERESTS
I love spending time with my family, bowling, golf, old sitcoms, listening to
music, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Sabres, Pittsburgh Pirates, chicken
wings, and many more.
MEMBERSHIPS
I am a member of the New York State Technology Education & Engineering
Association (NYSTEEA)
I strive to provide everyone of my students with as much knowledge related to
the course they are enrolled in as possible. I believe every one of my
students has the ability to be successful. I do what I can to stay updated
on current technological advances so that my students will be well informed
in my classes.
I will provide my students with the best experiences in Technology Education
as possible.
