After 20 rewarding years of teaching at the primary school, I
decided it was time for a change. The school administrator granted my
request, allowing me to move to the Elementary School where I've taught 5th
grade for 5 wonderful years. Fifth grade is an exciting year for our
students because it presents interesting challenges in curriculum and
personal growth. I've enjoyed being a part of that process, and have loved
working with this age level.
Now we're all headed into an exciting year of change as we become a part
of the Middle School. As a passionate reader, I'm absolutely thrilled to be
able to teach all classes of ELA.
I live just outside of the Village of Fredonia with my husband. This
past spring we planted a huge garden and now are brimming with food for this
season and the winter to come. Because our two grown children live in Boston
and New York City, we have great places to visit. We travel as often as we
can, now adding trips to visit our new grandson! We still enjoy our two
cats, Butch and Sullie, brothers that we adopted when they were wild little
kittens.
