Homework



Math Homework: Math homework will be sent home Mondays through Thursdays most weeks.  If a homework page is not sent home, it is probably because we did not get through an entire math lesson.  Please be sure to send these back to school the next day for credit.

B.A.G. Books:  Your child is responsible for reading each night (at least 5-10 minutes). He/She may choose a book from my leveled buckets or pick one from home. Your child should be filling out the recording sheet daily.  When your child returns a full sheet to school, he/she will receive a prize. Also, I just purchased the licensing for the program "Delicious Library."  It is a very neat program that catalogs books, cd's, magazines... really anything you want. Every day the students return a BAG book and can tell me what it is about, they get to scan it into our virtual library onto their own shelf!  It certainly has motivated a lot of the students and I even use it for my own kids at home.  Check it out if you'd like at the following link...


Spelling Homework:  Please return by Friday of each week (if there is no school on a Friday, return it the last day of the week). Spelling tests will be given on Friday or the last day of the week if there is no school.
