Welcome to the Gayhead Elementary School website. We are located at 15 Entry
Road in Hopewell Junction, New York 12533. Our principal is Mr. Jose
Olavarria.
Our mission is to instill in our students the knowledge, attitudes and
skills to become humane problem-solvers, creative thinkers, responsible
citizens, effective communicators and avid learners for life.
We embrace the belief that all children can learn. We respect the unique
qualities of each child, and encourage their individual abilities and
dreams. By setting high expectations for ourselves and for our students, we
will create challenging educational experiences that will provide a
foundation for exploration, decision-making, and problem solving. Through
communication and involvement, we will foster self-confidence,
interdependence and respect for ourselves and for others.
