 What happens if my son/daughter forgets his/her books in school?
Unlike elementary school, the building remains open for afterschool 
activities.  Your son/daughter will have access to his or her locker.

 What happens if my son/daughter misses school?
If your child is sick, we ask that you contact the school to notify them of 
the absence and of your request to pick up the missed work.  Your child also 
has a homework buddy who is responsible for gathering missed work and we 
encourage their use.  You can also contact the teachers via email and we 
will do our best to gather them.

 What happens if my child missed a homework assignment?
If your child misses a homework assignment, he or she will be penalized in 
their homework average for that given class.  In the first quarter, the 
students are allowed to miss two assignments without penalty.  In the 
following quarters, they are allowed to miss one without penalty.

 What if my child completes the homework they miss?
The child will have a 24 hour window to complete the missed assignment.  If 
the child completes the assignment within the allotted time, the student 
will receive half credit back.

 Do the kids have the opportunity to write down all of their assignments?
There will always be an allotted time in class to record the daily or long-
term assignments given.  In the beginning of the year, the teachers will 
sign all of the assignment planners to ensure the assignments have been 
recorded.

 Where are the assignments posted?
The assignments are posted in all four classrooms as well as out on the 
Homework Board.  The Homework Big Board is posted outside Mrs. LeDioyt's 
room.
