Mr. Hanson's Public Policy

 

You will need at least TEN sources

 

1.     BOOKS:

  • Use the HSC online catalog.  You can access this on the laptops by clicking on the OPAC link. HCS Library Catalog.
  • Use the CIDER link to locate books in our nearby school libraries, Morrisville, Oneida, VVS, Camden, Clinton, Utica, Rome and more. Ask the Library Media Specialist for help. CIDER -- School Libraries.
  • MidYork will access the public library catalog and includes all public libraries in the area – Hamilton, Earlville, Morrisville, Cazenovia, etc.
  • Colgate's Library.  You may get books there if you have a connection such as a parent working there or are taking a course.

2.   MAGAZINE AND NEWSPAPER ARTICLES:

These can be accessed from the library home page.  If you wish to use these from home, get the password sheet from Mrs. Jerome. Concentrate on using the following databases:

  1. EbscoHost: Use MasterFile Selec
  2. NewsBank:  Use NewsBank School Library Collection
  3. SIRS Researcher: Ask Mrs. Jerome for help accessing this and the next site.
  4. SIRS Government Reporter: same as above
  5. Proquest
  6. eLibrary

 

3.   INTERNET STIE:

These can be accessed by going to the HSC web page and clicking on “Projects.”
