Honors Physics

Honors physics is an honors regents course. Students taking this honors course will be the best prepared for advanced studies in physics at the college level. It is perfect for future engineering and other science majors.  Colleges like to see Honors and AP courses on a student's transcript.

The Honors course is an excellent prerequisite for the AP Physics C course.  The C course is very complex but also very narrow in scope. The C course is a 2nd year physics course and must not be taken as a 1st year class.  The C course does not provide the necessary material needed to pass the Regents nor does it provide an adequate foundation.
