ALGEBRA 1A Co-Taught Period 1

12/7/09 - Worksheet on finding perimeter of rectangles
12/8/09 - Worksheet on finding perimeter of triangles (1 rectangle problem)
12/10/09- No written homework tonight. We will finish the review packet in    
          class tomorrow and the TEST will be on MONDAY.
12/15/09- Worksheet
12/16/09- Finish example problems in notes sections of sheets started in 
          class today. (Not the HW noted on bottom of page.)
12/18/09- "Books Never Written" worksheet. Show your work on a separate sheet
          of paper or on the back of the worksheet. GET PROGRESS REPORT SIGNED
12/21/09- Test tomorrow 
        - Study the review packet completed in class today
        - REMEMBER to return the signed progress report.

ENGLISH 9 - Period 3

12/7/09 - Vocabulary Quiz tomorrow. Study the five current vocabulary words 
          plus the five from Poe (acute,...). Remember extra credit 
          flashcards.
        - Continue reading your Independent Reading book
        - Develop a thesis statement (a statement that you are going to prove 
          about the book you are reading). This theses statement is due next
          Monday, 12/14/09.
12/10/09 - On the Simple Sentence practice sheet, just identify the simple 
           subject and the simple predicate. (front of sheet only)
         - Thesis statement for IRU is due on Monday
12/15/09 - Complete the front and back of the first page in The Odyssey study 
           guide (Telemachus and Odysseus).
         - Decide by Thursday what option you are going to do for your IRU 
           project (PowerPoint, scripted skit, video,...). 
12/18/09 - There will be a quiz Tuesday, 12/22, on the Odysseus and 
           Telemachus sections of The Odyssey study guide.
12/21/09 - Quiz tomorrow on Odysseus and Telemachus sections of the study gd.
         - Quiz Tues, Jan. 5th on the Cyclops section of the study guide.
         - IRU Project will be due on Friday, Jan. 8th. You will have a 
           some time to work on these projects in class 1/4 - 1/7.

12/14/09 - Review for Chapter 14 TEST tomorrow.
12/22/09 - Have your progress report signed and return for a HW grade
         - There will be a second test on chapter 14 on Tues., Jan. 5th.
         - REMEMBER: There will be a cumulative mid-term exam in class during
                          the week of January 19th.
