The
goal of this course is to expand the student’s awareness of fashion history,
introduce the basic skills of fashion drawing, and provide an opportunity to
apply the principles and elements of design in fashion and style projects. The
World of Fashion course offers the student an opportunity to explore the role
of fashion in everyday life, develop a sense of personal style, and explore
careers related to the fashion industry.
Assessment:
Assessment is based on authentic assessments, laboratories, exams, quizzes,
projects, observations, public speaking, written reflections and portfolios.
