This is the site for Lyndhurst Castle which we visited on Friday. Some children expressed an interest in the Lego Festival in April. There is some info on that on this site under calendar.

Today we read Robert Munsch's book "MMM, Cookies!" The author shared his recipe for "Play Clay" Some children requested the recipe and I told them I would put it on my web site. I have not tried the recipe so can not vouch for it. However, I am sure you can Google "play doh homemade" for more options.

 

Heat to boiling:  1 1/2 cups water, 1/2 cup salt.  Add: 2 tsp. food coloring, 2 tbsp. alum, 2 tbsp. salad oil, 2 cups (or more) flour. When cool knead well. Store in plastic wrap.
