The 20088-2009 school year will mark my 9th year of teaching at Keshequa. I
did my undergraduate work at SUNY Fredonia and received a B.A. in English.
In the summer of 2006, I completed my masters degree in Reading from the
University of Albany. During my tenure at Keshequa, I have coached modified
volleyball and Junior Varsity girls' basketball and served as a class
advisor. Some of you may know me as Ms. James, and although I'm not picky
about people who forget my married name and call me Ms. James, Mrs. Vogler
is the name you'll see on or associated with anything for my class or from
my classroom. I look forward to having a great school year and getting to
know all of my new students!
Parents: If any questions or concerns arise this year, please do not
hesitate to contact me. Once I know my schedule, my planning periods and
ninth period are the best times to contact me by phone. If you're ok with e-
mail communication, that's sometimes the easiest way to stay in touch and I
will reply to an e-mail within 24 hours. I'm considering the idea of an e-
mail newsletter for interested parents that would go out monthly. If you're
interested in receiving this, please drop me an e-mail and I'll add you to
the list!
The mission for all of my classes is simple. Our goal is to improve as
readers and writers through varied tasks that prepare us for both testing
situations required for graduation and life in the "real" world.
