Will we have homework in ESL?

I rarely give overnight homework assignments in ESL.  You have enough 
homework in your other academic classes.  You may be asked to make up work 
at home if you missed class due to absence.

Will I have a book?

Most books will be used only in class.  ESL students may sign out books if 
they choose, but some books may have to be brought back every day for class 
use.

Can you help me with homework in my other classes?

ESL is designed to improve your overall English.  To that end, we will learn 
grammar and vocabulary to assist you in all your classes.  We will help you 
with content area classes as time permits.
