Dec. 2
4th:  We are continuing to practice forming affirmative, negative and 
interrogative sentences in the present continuous.  
8th:  We have reviewed wording in math problems and are reading short 
articles on American culture.   We read about the presidency on Monday and 
Lincoln today.  (Mrs. Rahman covered the class)

Nov. 23
4th:  reviewed and took quiz
8th:  reviewed Thanksgiving story, read newspaper, looked at pictures of 
traditional Thanksgiving food...became hungry.

Nov. 20
4th:  possesive quiz Monday

Nov. 19
4th:  finished packet   Quiz next week.
8th:  continued to read Pilgrim story.

Nov. 18
4th: review packet for demonstrative and possessives  Whose is vs. Who is
8th:  had world geography test.  We will finish tomorrow.  STUDY

4th:  pronunciation of long and short vowels
      finished chapter on possessives and demonstratives.

8th: did world climates and took notes on global measurements

4th:  Reviewed and had quiz on adjectives
8th:  Finished quiz and practiced compass directions

4th:  finished review packet and wrote discriptive paragraphs on something
      they owned.   Quiz tomorrow.
8th:  did longitude and latitude lines and measurements.   Read about world 
      climates.

4th:  worked on adjective review packet and welcomed new student!!!
8th:  reviewed world rivers and mountains and ordinal directions.  Started 
world climate zones.

4th:  took more notes on adjective vocabulary and started review packet

8th:  read in American Culture book:  Peanut Butter.   Halloween words

8th:  We read about Halloween traditions.  "Costumes are a custom for 
       Halloween"

8th:  test on American Geography

4th:  We wrote sentences with count and non-count nouns
      An "unaided" worksheet is for tomorrow.

8th:  reviewed for US map test

We did the review sheet on count vs. non-count nouns

We covered 81-83 in text.  Count vs. non-count nouns

8th period

We reviewed cardinal and intermediary directions with states and landforms in 
the United States
