Mission For The Classes

LAW:   
      to provide students with knowledge of criminal + civil laws;
      to enhance citizenship responsibilities + rights

PARTICIPATION
in GOVERNMENT:  
      to help students become active citizens; 
      to analyse current political issues, to include public policies;
      to offer students opportunities for public speaking in role play
          situations as U.S. Senators from various states in the nation;
      to enlighten students on service to their communities by
          requiring a 10 hour minimum volunteer practicum;
      to enlighten students on local public meetings in Dutchess County

AP GOVERNMENT: 
      to prepare students for the Advanced Placement Exam: U.S.Government + 
          Policy
