With the holidays upon us, thoughts turn to family and friends and warm holiday get-togethers. These are certainly good things. Soon the new year will be upon us and we become obliged to address new beginnings and those New Year’s resolutions, most of which end up all too short-lived.
So how do we experience meaningful change and become more resolute in those important changes that we need to make or renew in our lives?
I suggest that there is a strong correlation between the degree of thoughtful reflection made and the success that we experience in the areas that we wish to improve in our lives. Therefore, I strongly recommend to all the members of the Roy C. Ketcham learning community that we make December Resolutions!
In particular, I have a special message for our students… Be more resolute now! Address the changes you wish to make now! Do not delay! Make your lists now.
Why put off until tomorrow what you can do today!
Have a great holiday season and good luck on your December Resolutions!
Sincerely, Mr. Stella
