9th GRADE HOUSING

As the 9th grade administrator I am very excited to introduce and be part of the 9th Grade Academy. Beginning the 2008-2009 school year, we have implemented a 9th Grade Academy. As part of this academy each 9th grader is assigned to a specific team which is color coded. When you receive your child's schedule it will indicate which team they have been assigned. Teachers and guidance counselors have been assigned to specific 9th grade teams and will have the opportunity to meet as a team to coordinate curriculum and identify any areas of concern both academically, socially and emotionally. This time can also be used to meet with parents to address areas of concern. I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with students, parents and teachers within this setting.
