Dear Ski Club Families,
Yahoo, there is snow on the ground! In less than a month the ski club will
be heading for the slopes.
Fortunately, we have enough families that donated for the extra mechanic
expense that the JTR buses will be hitting the road on January. Thank you to
all of you that donated additional funds. In fact, too much money was
collected. After we sent out the request to cover the additional expense,
transportation notified us that the overtime cost had been miscalculated,
which led to the collection of more money than was needed.
Mr. Farrell and I agreed that the easiest way to resolve the extra money
issue would be to randomly choose eight names on the ski club and return
their checks.
Mr. Farrell and I greatly appreciate your cooperation as we’ve navigated
through this somewhat tricky trail this fall. I am sure the bumpy beginning
ski club has had this 2009-2010 season will smooth itself out. I am
confident we are going to have a great time on the slopes this year.
Besides, what is skiing or boarding without a few bumps here or there?
