INVITATION LETTER TO ALL 6th GRADERS:

Dear Parent:

We are happy to announce once again that we will be holding auditions for our
spring musical production!  Any sixth grade student who is interested is
encouraged to audition.

Our goal is for the students to participate in all aspects of creating and
performing a musical production.  All participants should understand the
importance of each part and be ready to make a commitment to the group.  We
hope to provide the students with an enriching experience and prepare them for
future participation in the theater.

Auditions for the cast will be held before school at 7:45AM on Wednesday,
Thursday, and Friday, December 16, 17 and 18.  Students will be required to
act and sing.  All interested students should attend, including those who wish
to participate in crew.

CREW NOTE********Students are needed for assistants, set design, props,
backstage and other jobs.  Interested students should return a permission slip
and attend the FIRST audition date, December 16.  You will not be considered
for crew if you do not show up to the first audition date.

Cast and Crew decisions will be posted on Monday, January 4.  The directors
will make all final casting and crew decisions.  Because we anticipate a lot
of interest, understand that auditioning does not guarantee participation in
the production.

Rehearsals are scheduled for mornings- Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in
January, February, March, April and May.  Rehearsals begin at 7:45AM sharp.

The first week in June will be Tech Week with the performances on June 4 and
5, 2010.  Students will rehearse after school during Tech Week. As with any
schedule, it is tentative and subject to change.
