In the summer of 2004, the library was started by a team, which included three classroom teachers, the AIS teacher, the school librarian and the principal. The current reading and AIS teachers have added many new titles to the list and are currently responsible for maintaining the library.

The Library contains books designed for teaching comprehensive literacy in the classroom. The Comprehensive Literacy Library is also referred to as "The Bookroom." It is located next to the Main office. Teachers may sign out books and the related lesson plans by filling in the cards located inside the book boxes.
