What is AIS?

AIS means Academic Intervention Services. These services are provided to
all students based on test scores, teacher referrals, and individual needs.
Our goal is for all students to score at atleast a proficient level(3) in
English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. Please

What services are provided?

The AIS teacher works in collaboration with the regular classroom teachers.
Lessons vary depending on the needs of individual students and classroom
schedules. Students may work in small groups in the AIS classroom, or with
the AIS teacher in their regular classroom. The teacher meets with students
at least three times for 30 minutes in a six-day cycle.
