Frequently Asked Questions: This page contains answers to common questions of students and parents.
When does the PTA have their meetings?
Traditionally, the meetings have been at night. Due to a conflict with other school functions the meetings in November and May will be at 3:30pm.Back to Top
Why are the meetings held in the Middle School?
Meeting times and locations on school property must be approved by the Administration. This has been the only consistently available space that has a secure room to store our property. HOWEVER, there has been a request by the Elementary Principal to hold the next few meetings at the Elementary building to try to get more members at the meetings.Back to Top
How much time is asked of volunteers?
We ask that volunteers donate only 2 HOURS a year to one of our PTA events or activities.Back to Top
Our events rarely last longer than that. If a PTA member can donate 2 hours to an event per year and be done, then they have provided another wonderful memory for the students of Liberty.Back to Top
What if I can't spare the time or hate meetings?
Sometimes a simple thing like checking our website for upcoming events or spreading a good word about the PTA can have an enormous ripple effect. You tell one person and they tell one person and so on and so on.... Pretty soon, our PTA event is the hottest thing happening!Back to Top
How are the meetings organized?
We have Bylaws that we must follow and that includes Robert's Rules of Order. Our meetings have agendas and are kept to a specific time frame. We know that everyone is busy and has places to go and people to see. We will not waste your time.Back to Top
