Mission
Together we are a powerful voice for children. With your help, we can continue to work toward PTA's goal of a quality education and a nurturing environment for every child. REMEMBER: We are ALL volunteers and this is a NON-Profit organization. Any funds we raise are immediately directed back to the students through events,supplies and financial support of field trips and yearbook costs. So, consider becoming a Liberty PTA Member and show your support for all the things the PTA does to help your child have a successful academic career. PTA Membership Dues are $5.00 per family for the 2011-12 school year. (National PTA and NYS PTA get $4.00 out of the $5.00) As a member; • You get to vote at local and State meetings and PTA Conventions. • PTA offers many discounts for having and showing a membership card. (see http://pta.org/member_benefit_providers.asp) • Many PTA units work with local businesses which offer a variety of "show your card and save" discounts. • Many schools give discounts for admissions to dances, drama productions, and sports events, if students or members show their PTA card. • The back of a membership card contains the username and password needed for accessing the Members Only section of the NYS PTA website and the National PTA benefits page.
