NEW ENTRANT REGISTRATION

New families to the Lansingburgh School District need to register their school age children with the principals of the elementary buildings and with the School Guidance and Counseling Office at the Middle and High School buildings

Please call the school to schedule an appointment for an intake meeting.. At this meeting, you will need to bring a copy of your child's birth certificate and social security card, a current or end of school year report card, proof of residency which supports the address which the child is being registered with, up-to-date immunization records and an IEP, if applicable. The Counseling Office Secretary will contact the child's previously attended school, to obtain NYS assessment and achievement testing, however, bringing copies with you will always expedite the process.

There is also a packet of information which will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. These forms are necessary and include: a bus form , if applicable, free/reduced lunch form, student language form, registration form, permission to release information form, immunization and medical information form and a emergency card.

Please also bring your child to the scheduled appointment so they may be interviewed and become acquainted with their counselor.
