About The Teacher
Mrs. Luciano has a been School Counselor at Knickerbacker Middle School since 1991. She has previous experience as a Science Teacher. Mrs. Luciano's involvment in many school organizatons include Chairperson of the Student Mentor Committee, Past Chair of the Character Education Committee, KMS Book Club Member, Student Council Co-Advisor and Principal's Advisory Committee. Mrs. Luciano is the Advisor for the National Junior Honor Society. Mrs. Luciano is a 2004 recipient of the PTA Founders Award, for exemplery service to children of the district; Mrs. Luciano achieved National Board Certification in School Counseling in 2010 and is the current Guidance Director for the Lansingburgh School District. *************************************************************************** Mrs. Lyons joined the Counseling Office in September of 2007. She has previous experience with the Albany County Child Services and completed her internship at Voorheesville CSD in Guidance and Counseling. Mrs. Lyons is the current Advisor of the KMS Student Council and a member of the OLWEUS Antibullying Program. Mrs. Lyons is active in promoting the middle school character education program.
