I would encourage that you make time at home each night for your child to do 
some independent silent reading and/or writing. 10-15 minutes is a good 
amount of time. If your child has some math to finish or another assignment, 
do not let it go longer than twenty minutes. Please send me an e mail or 
write a note in the agenda if there is a problem.

Agendas - I am asking that we each initial the agendas every night. It is a 
great way to communicate. By doing this every night we are developing some 
great oganizational techniques for our students. Please feel free to write 
me a note in the agenda if you have any questions.
