How are students graded?

Students are graded using tests, quizzes, homework, and notebook checks.

Can students make up missed homework?

There is a 24 hour policy in this class.  If the missed homework is turned 
in within 24 hours of the due date, it will be accepted for 1/2 credit.  If a 
student is absent, they should check the daily calendar for missed 
assignments.  If your child will be absent for an extended period of time, 
please request assignments from the office.

Can students earn extra credit?

Occassionally there are opportunities for extra credit. Students should 
check with their teacher if they feel they are in need.

When is the New York State assesssment?

The week of March 13th.  Please try to keep your calendar free of 
appointments that morning.
