Why do students need a three ring binder and a folder?

All of the handouts and notes packets will be kept in the binder in the
classroom. Students' binders will be handed in several times throughout the
school year for a grade. I believe that it is important for high school
students to learn good organization skills and this will help them. The
folder will be used to transport materials including homework and current
notes packets back and forth between home and school.

Am I available for extra help?

Always. Students need to let me know during a school day if they would like
to meet me in room 249 after school. The only times that I will be
unavailable are if I have a meeting or an appointment. I will always find a
time to meet as soon as possible.

When can students make up tests or quizzes if they were absent?

Students who were absent on the day of a test or quiz need to schedule a
time after school to make it up. Make up tests may be taken up to one week
after the first day back. Make up quizzes may be taken up to three days
after the first day back. Make ups will be given in a different format and
may not be taken during class.
