This is my fourth year at Lansingburgh High School. I enjoy my job here very
much. I am dedicated to helping my students achieve success in and out of the
classroom. I am always available to my students when they need help. I am
involved in several extra-curricular activities as well, including Mock Trial,
Ski and Snowboard Club, and Softball.
I am excited to meet my new ninth grade students. We are beginning a looping
schedule where I will teach my ninth graders and then I will move on to tenth
grade with them to tenth grade next year. I believe that this will be a great
opportunity for both me and my students.
I am also excited about the opportunity to teach more Economics classes this
year. Many of the Seniors who I will teach this year were in my Global 9
classes my first year in Lansingburgh. I am looking forward to working with
them again.
My goal is not only to teach all of my students the content of the course,
but also to teach them things that will help them make good decisions and
become lifelong learners.
My classroom is one that is based on respect. My students are well on their
way to becoming adults and I treat them that way. I expect to be treated
with respect in return. If we can stick to these simple guidelines we can
accomplish a lot this year and enjoy ourselves at the same time.
