SUPPLY LIST for 2009-2010
Dear 5th Grade Students,
Congratulations on your success at LES, and we are so excited to
welcome you to the Middle School !! We are REALLY looking forward to
working with each of you to achieve your goals as a 5th Grader !
Here is a list of supplies you will need for the coming year. Take
your parents shopping, and don’t forget to treat them to lunch !!!
Supply List (check it off when you get it)
_____ Loose-leaf paper – wide rule (Be sure to re-stock this OFTEN)
_____ 6 - Pocket Folders (needed for Encores and ELA)
_____ Number two pencils (Be sure to re-stock these OFTEN)
_____ Blue or Black pens (Be sure to re-stock these OFTEN)
_____ Hand-held pencil sharpener with receptacle to catch shavings
_____ A zip pencil case that is easy to carry
_____ Small box of colored pencils
_____ 1 large box of tissues
_____ 1 pkg. of small index cards
Notebooks:
_____ TWO - 100 pg. Marble Composition Notebooks-wide ruled–for Math
_____ ONE - Three subject spiral notebook for ELA
_____ TWO – 1 INCH WIDE Three Ring binders for Science & Social
Studies
** NOTE: There is NO ROOM FOR TRAPPER KEEPERS or LARGE
BINDER/ORGANIZERS in the desks. Please do not bring in additional
supplies as they will not fit in the limited desk space.
On a regular basis, please ask your child about their
current supplies of pens, pencils, and paper. Please replenish as
needed.
